FrictionMax ("the App") is developed by Futuron Inc. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we handle your data.
FrictionMax stores your profile data, chat messages, challenge history, and daily logs locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device except when sent to our AI service for chat responses.
When you use the AI coach chat feature, your messages and relevant profile context are sent to OpenAI's API (GPT-4o-mini) to generate responses. OpenAI processes this data according to their API data usage policy, which states that API data is not used to train their models.
We send only the minimum context necessary: your recent chat messages and a summary of your profile to personalize responses. We do not send your full profile data, and we do not store any data on our servers.
All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal information. There are no user accounts.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties, except as described above for the AI chat functionality.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services.
You can delete all your data at any time by deleting the app from your device. You can also reset your data from within the app's Settings.
FrictionMax is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
