FrictionMax is developed by Futuron Inc. The app is a paid personal coaching and challenge tool. There are no user accounts, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics.
Your profile, routines, goals, habits, chat history, challenges, progress, and daily logs are stored locally with Apple's SwiftData framework. Deleting the app deletes this local information.
FrictionMax does not send an AI request until you explicitly tap “I Agree.” You can revoke consent in Settings. When you ask the coach for help or request personalized friction swaps, the app may send your current message, up to 20 recent messages, and relevant profile, routine, goal, habit, challenge, and recent-progress context through Cloudflare to OpenAI's GPT-4o mini API. This information is used to generate the requested response.
OpenAI handles API data under its Privacy Policy, Service Terms, and API privacy commitments. Cloudflare handles requests under its Privacy Policy.
The app creates a random identifier for this installation and sends it with AI requests. Cloudflare hashes that identifier before using it for rate limiting. Rate-limit counters expire within 48 hours. The identifier is not an advertising identifier and is not used to track you across apps or websites.
Our Cloudflare Worker validates and forwards the request to OpenAI. Futuron does not create a user profile on its servers or retain message content in an application database. Cloudflare and OpenAI may process technical request data according to their policies and security practices.
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only to Cloudflare and OpenAI as needed to provide the AI feature, or when required by law.
You may revoke AI sharing in Settings. You may delete local app data by deleting the app. For privacy questions or requests, email support@futuron.ai.
FrictionMax is not directed to children under 13.
